Job Description

A K-12 school in Aurora, CO is seeking a skilled Occupational Therapist to support students throughout the current school year on a contract basis. This role focuses on providing therapeutic interventions to enhance students functional abilities and participation in academic activities.

Responsibilities:

• Evaluate and assess students occupational therapy needs.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to each students goals.
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other educational staff to integrate therapy goals within the classroom setting.
• Monitor student progress and adjust interventions accordingly.
• Maintain accurate documentation and comply with school and state regulations.
• Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and IEP discussions as needed.

Qualifications:

• Valid Occupational Therapy license with experience in school-based settings.
• Knowledge of K-12 educational frameworks and special education requirements.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Ability to adapt therapy strategies to diverse student needs.
• Commitment to supporting student independence and success.
