Diese Position Untersteht Regional General Counsel, Robotics ABB is currently seeking a Legal Counsel for Robotics Business Area in the US. This role is responsible for assisting in the development and implementation of business-centered legal strategies that drive increased order volume for the division while simultaneously protecting against significant risks. Guide and counsel stakeholders to ensure comprehension and coordination of the necessary legal measures to ensure the successful operation of the various Robotic Businesses. Advise and represent the Robotics Business’ interests regarding the various legal matters that these Businesses encounter in their respective markets. The work model for the role is: in the United States, with a preference for East coast. Key Responsibilities Serve as Legal Counsel for Business Area RA matters in the U.S., providing legal advice with minimal supervision. Draft, negotiate, and review commercial contracts, including NDAs and confidentiality agreements. Monitor and interpret applicable laws, regulations, and policies to ensure ongoing compliance. Provide legal support for cross-border contracts, product liability issues, and government contracts. Compile and analyze regulatory/business data and prepare written legal analyses. Advise on legal risks in business transactions and support dispute/litigation resolution. Deliver legal training, support risk reviews, and participate in business meetings. Collaborate with legal colleagues across business areas to align on strategy and compliance. Knowledge, Skills And Experience Juris Doctorate from an accredited U.S. law school with active bar admission and at least 7 years of legal experience, primarily in commercial and contractual law. Authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship. Proven ability to exercise sound legal judgment, handle sensitive information, and operate independently in a corporate or matrixed environment. Strong business acumen, attention to detail, and ability to drive process improvements. Skilled collaborator with proficiency in Microsoft Teams and related tools. Excellent written, analytical, and interpersonal communication skills; thrives in fast-paced settings.
