People Architects is partnering with a fast-growing, industrial manufacturing company at a pivotal point in its evolution. Once a founder-led shop, the company has since partnered with a private equity firm focused on buy-to-own, long-term value—not quick flips. With significant growth capital secured, the business is undergoing a cultural shift: from micromanaged to empowered, from legacy practices to scalable infrastructure, and from one plant to a multi-site platform with national reach.

The Warehouse Supervisor oversees daily warehouse operations—including receiving, inventory control, and shipping—while providing direct supervision of warehouse staff. This position also manages multiple site responsibilities and provides oversight of light operations such as deburring, cleaning, and assembly. The role ensures accuracy, safety, and efficiency while coordinating with sales, production, and customer service teams. This role will be a “player – coach” role.

Key Responsibilities

• Directly supervise daily warehouse operations including receiving, packaging, stocking, and shipping.
• Oversee secondary operations (deburring, cleaning, assembly).
• Plan daily truck runs, arrange LTL shipments, and manage shipping exceptions.
• Ensure inventory accuracy (goal: 98%+), oversee cycle counts, and resolve discrepancies.
• Supervise staff in loading/unloading trucks, forklift operation, and shipment preparation.
• Collaborate with sales and production to prioritize and expedite shipments to meet customer
• deadlines.
• Conduct performance reviews, provide coaching, and manage disciplinary actions.
• Train and certify lift truck operators; ensure compliance with safety policies.
• Oversee maintenance scheduling for trucks, lift trucks, and warehouse equipment.
• Provide tracking information and shipping details to management as needed.

Qualifications & Skills

• High school diploma or equivalent; associate or bachelor’s degree preferred.
• 5+ years warehouse or logistics experience, including supervisory responsibilities.
• Strong knowledge of shipping methods, LTL freight, and inventory control best practices.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, Teams) and experience working with ERP systems.
• Ability to operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment; valid certification preferred.
• Valid driver’s license with clean driving record; able to operate company vehicles.
• Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs. and work in a physically active environment.
