Job Description:
We are seeking a Supply Chain Manager who will serve as a key member of the employee-owner team responsible for supporting the growth and success of M-7 Technologies. Scope and responsibilities will include broad responsibility for various supply chain and purchasing transactions along with various business administrative duties such as inventory management. Becoming a master user of our ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) system is critical for this role.
Primary Responsibilities:
* Create and issue requests for quotes (RFQ) and purchase orders (PO) to suppliers
* Evaluate suppliers and assist in managing relationships
*Maintain records of goods ordered and received
*Report issues on any unacceptable vendor goods/services
*Maintain accurate inventory levels for production
*Stay current with market trends and pricing fluctuations to make informed purchasing decisions
*Work closely with sales and production to ensure seamless collaboration and alignment across the organization, utilizing Just (JIT) manufacturing practices
*Negotiate freight rates with 3rd party logistics companies
*Follow ISO processes
*Other duties as assigned and needed by the organization.
