Job Summary:

Daifuku Intralogistics America Corporation is a leading provider of intelligent material handling systems. The Software Engineer I will be responsible for building custom software solutions of high-quality while following coding standards and technical design, and will work on projects of limited complexity in a support role.

Responsibilities:

• Designs and develops software applications

• Performs coding, debugging, testing and troubleshooting throughout the application development process

• Typically reports to a manager

• Works on projects/matters of limited complexity in a support role

• Work is closely managed

• Some travel is expected, up to 15%

Qualifications:

Required:

• Bachelor’s degree in Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science or equivalent experience

• Minimal experience designing and developing software applications

• .NET

• Proficiency with C# and the Microsoft .NET Framework

• Proficiency with Object Oriented Programming (OOP)

• Proficiency with troubleshooting/debugging software applications

• Experience with Windows Services

• Experience with Microsoft Entity Framework

• Experience with SQL, LINQ

• Experience with Microsoft SQL Server

• Experience with Oracle

• Experience with TCP/IP

• Experience with Microsoft Visual Studio

• Experience with Microsoft Team Foundation Server (TFS)

• Experience with Microsoft Azure/DevOps, Git

• Experience with Source Control and Bug Tracking

• Experience with Microsoft SQL Management Studio

• Experience with Microsoft Visio

• Experience with Microsoft Office

• Experience designing and developing Web based systems, as well as Client / Server based applications

• Experience in software development lifecycle methodology

• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills

• Strong teamwork and collaboration skills

• Proficiency with Java and the JDK Framework

• Experience with Java Messaging Service

• Experience with Java Servlet

• Experience with Microsoft ASP.NET MVC Framework

• Experience with Vue.js, Angular.js, or experience with other Javascript reactive frameworks

• Experience with HTML, CSS, AJAX, SQL, LINQ

• Experience with MVC and MVVM architectural patterns

• Experience with .NET Core

• Experience with WCF/Web API

• Experience with Microsoft Windows Presentation Framework (WPF)
