Shipping and Receiving Clerk Responsibilities:

• Packing and unpacking delicate instruments, ensuring items are handled and packaged very carefully and securely – most packages range from 2-5 lbs but occasionally up to 50+ lbs
• Scanning and filing documents
• Cleaning duties to maintain clean and organized shipping, storage and shop areas
• Using computer to aide in clerical functions
• Confirming goods received
• Standing, stooping, bending, 75%
• Working in a fast-paced environment and prioritizing workload
• Assisting with physical inventory counts and maintaining proper stock of shipping supplies
• Assisting in shop area tool prep and tool cleaning when needed

Shipping and Receiving Clerk Skills Needed:

• Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
• Strong communication skills with attention to detail.
• Ability to work effectively with all levels of personnel
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Forklift Experience Required
