Let’s get to the good stuff

As a Mid-Level Technical SEO Specialist, you will be responsible for leading technical SEO strategies and implementations for medium to enterprise-level clients. This role requires a strong technical foundation, strategic thinking, and the ability to collaborate across multiple teams to deliver outstanding SEO results.

Key Responsibilities

• Own and manage the SEO product roadmap, balancing technical improvements with content opportunities.
• Conduct in-depth technical SEO audits, focusing on areas such as crawling/indexing, sitemaps, robots.txt, structured data, canonicalization, and crawl budget optimization.
• Optimize website architecture, metadata, XML sitemaps, site speed, etc.
• Partner with developers and cross-functional teams to implement scalable SEO solutions.
• Utilize tools like Screaming Frog, Sitebulb, Ahrefs, SEMRush, Brightlocal, GA4, and Google Search Console to monitor, analyze, and report on SEO performance.
• Identify and troubleshoot technical issues on sites ranging from tens of thousands to over a million pages.
• Stay current with SEO industry trends, algorithm updates, and best practices, educating internal stakeholders and clients as needed.
• Provide actionable insights based on data analysis to improve organic traffic, rankings, and conversions.
• Mentor junior SEO team members, offering guidance and support in their professional development.

The skills you’ll bring to the table:

• 3+ years of hands-on technical SEO experience, preferably in an agency setting.
• Strong expertise in technical SEO, including canonicalization, sitemaps, crawl budget management, structured data, and site speed optimization.
• Proficiency in using Screaming Frog, Sitebulb, Ahrefs, SEMRush, Brightlocal, GA4, and Google Search Console.
• Experience with technical SEO audits for medium to enterprise-level sites, including e-commerce and international sites.
• Strong understanding of on-page SEO factors and how site architecture influences rankings.
• Ability to diagnose and resolve complex technical issues and communicate solutions clearly to non-technical stakeholders.
• Proficient in Excel (pivot tables, lookup functions, conditional formatting) for data analysis and reporting.
• Basic understanding of HTML for troubleshooting and optimization.
• Working knowledge of WordPress, Shopify, and HubSpot.
• Basic understanding of Python for automation and data analysis.
• Familiarity with E-E-A-T principles, UX best practices, and their impact on SEO.
• Experience with AI tools for diagnosing and resolving SEO issues.
