Salary: $90,000 - $125,000 per year A bit about us: We’re seeking an experienced accountant to support key financial operations including journal entries, reconciliations, general ledger maintenance, and compliance reporting. This role will also assist with fixed asset management and lease accounting under ASC 842. You'll collaborate with the broader Accounting and Finance team on monthly close activities, audit preparation, and SEC filings. Why join us?

Job Details Responsibilities:

• Post journal entries and prepare reconciliations for balance sheet and income statement accounts
• Analyze general ledger activity and resolve discrepancies
• Handle month-end processes including accruals, prepaids, and intercompany transactions
• Support lease and fixed asset accounting functions
• Reconcile un-vouchered liabilities and perform freight cost analysis
• Prepare tax and license payment requests
• Assist with SG&A analysis and provide variance insights
• Contribute to internal and external audit processes
• Prepare data and supporting schedules for SEC reporting
• Deliver financial analysis and reporting to senior leadership
• Generate ad-hoc reports and forecasts as needed
• Ensure compliance with internal controls, policies, and GAAP standards

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• 3+ years of accounting experience
• SEC reporting and technical accounting at a public company preferred
• Strong understanding of U.S. GAAP and internal controls
• Experience in consumer goods, food production, or a similar industry is a plus
• Proficient with ERP systems (e.g., Microsoft D365, ProducePro)
• Audit background or international experience is a plus
