Job Description

An opportunity is available for a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) or Behavior Intervention Specialist (BIS) to support students in a K-12 school setting. This contract position, located in Hot Springs, South Dakota, is designed for the upcoming school year.

Responsibilities include:

• Conducting functional behavior assessments and developing individualized behavior intervention plans.
• Collaborating with educators, parents, and other professionals to implement and monitor behavior strategies.
• Providing training and support to school staff on behavior management techniques.
• Collecting and analyzing data to monitor student progress and adjust interventions as needed.
• Ensuring compliance with state and federal regulations related to behavior services.

Qualifications:

• Current BCBA certification or valid Behavior Intervention Specialist credential.
• Experience working with children and adolescents in educational settings, preferably K-12.
• Strong knowledge of applied behavior analysis (ABA) principles and behavior intervention strategies.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Ability to manage multiple cases effectively within a school environment.

Location: Hot Springs, South Dakota
