Job Summary:
Retail Associates at Hobby Lobby are responsible for providing exceptional customer service, maintaining store appearance, and assisting with sales and merchandise display. They are the frontline representatives of the store, engaging with customers to ensure a positive shopping experience.
Responsibilities:
- Greet and assist customers with enthusiasm and professionalism.
- Answer customer questions regarding products and services; provide information on promotions and store policies.
- Process sales transactions at the POS (point-of-sale) system, handle cash and provide accurate change.
- Assist in setting up displays and organizing shelves; ensure that the sales floor is well-maintained.
- Monitor inventory levels and assist in ordering and receiving stock.
- Participate in store opening and closing procedures.
- Maintain a clean and safe shopping environment by adhering to company standards and procedures.
Qualifications:
- Previous retail experience preferred but not required.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong organizational abilities and attention to detail.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team and maintain a positive attitude.
- Flexibility to work various shifts including weekends, evenings, and holidays.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
