Position: Proposal Writer Location: Huntington Beach, CA (First week onsite, and then the position will be fully remote) Pay: $60,000 to $70,000/year (Depending on experience) Experience: 2-3 years of professional writing experience, with 1-2 years specifically in proposal and/or persuasive writing. Strong writing portfolio demonstrating clarity, strategy, and attention to detail. Education: Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, English, or related field – OR – equivalent professional experience. Type: Full-time; Direct Hire Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8am to 5pm Array Corporation is seeking a Proposal Writer to join a growing and dynamic team! Job Description: Proposal Development & Writing Analyze RFP requirements and coordinate appropriate responses using internal and external resources. Write, edit, and synthesize complex information into clear, compelling narratives tailored to solicitation requirements. Ensure compliance, consistency, and quality across all response documents. Collaborate with internal subject matter experts, sales leads, and leadership to craft winning strategies and technical responses. Research & Strategy Conduct background research to understand buyer demographics, contract history, and evaluation criteria. Assist in vetting opportunities, analyzing feasibility, and preparing strategic Q&A. Contribute to the development of winning themes, tactics, and differentiators. Proposal Operations & Quality Control Maintain and contribute to the Proposal Content Library, including past responses, support documents, and standardized content. Support collateral proposal functions such as project summaries, data visualization, win/loss analysis, and finalist presentations. Monitor and report on proposal KPIs, helping to track submission volume, win rate, and quality metrics. Cross-Functional Collaboration Interface professionally with Array stakeholders, partner organizations, and subcontractors. Assist in the coordination of teaming arrangements, document contributions, and final review processes. Support other operational projects within Sales Operations as needed. Position Requirements: Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint); experience with proposal management tools is a plus. Demonstrated experience with SLED, Federal, and/or Commercial RFP processes. Strong research and information synthesis capabilities. Ability to manage multiple concurrent deadlines and adapt quickly to shifting priorities. Exceptional verbal and written communication skills. Strong interpersonal skills and ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams. High levels of integrity, accountability, and follow-through.
