Production Assistant

What You'll Do:

  • Rotational position learning ASR business framework in Stabilized, Recycling and Construction services.
  • Work closely to support administrative departments for exposure to People Operations, Safety, Environmental, Credit/Collections, Sales and Accounting.
  • Perform data entry as needed to assist in daily functions of business unit.
  • Assist business unit with various projects by preparing materials, tools, and equipment.
  • Comply with health and safety regulations when operating equipment, while onsite, and when not on active duty.
  • Maintain a productive pace to complete all assigned tasks within time constraints.
  • Wear assigned personal protective equipment (PPE) such as ear plugs, safety glasses, gloves, helmets, and boots at all times when on job site.

What You'll Need:

  • Degree in Construction Science or related field, trade school graduate in related field, or 1-3 years' experience working in related field.
  • Ability to work a minimum of 40 hours per week.
  • Ability to demonstrate higher order thinking and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to travel with the team to local market areas as well as spend time at our DFW, Florida, and California Arcosa Crushed Concrete locations.
  • Possesses a positive attitude and thrives in a team environment.
  • Possesses the ability to complete self-directed work as well as contribute in a collaborative capacity.
  • Effective oral and written communication skills.
  • Strict compliance with use of personal protective equipment (PPE) in plant environment. (PPE will be provided, with the exception of steel toe boots).
  • Ability to travel to other ASR Divisions.

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to work in all weather conditions
  • Ability to climb heights of 15 feet on a regular basis
  • Ability to lift, carry, and/or pull 50 pounds on a regular basis
  • Able to stand for prolonged periods of time
  • Ability to work in dusty, loud noise environment
  • Required to wear safety equipment including hard hat, safety glasses, goggles, steel toed boots, ear plugs, respirator, gloves and various other similar items as required.

Compensation:

Base salary will be determined considering industry experience and level of education.
