We are looking for a founding Product Manager to build and lead Middesks Developer & Ecosystem strategy. This role will shape how our customers and partners interact with our APIs, integrations, and developer tools. Youll sit at the intersection of product, engineering, and partnershipsowning the roadmap for our developer experience and ensuring our platform integrates seamlessly with the systems our customers already use. Just as importantly, you will be out front with our partners to ensure the best integrations for wide distribution and adoption of Middesk.
This is a foundational roleyou will define the vision, stand up the function, and operationalize how Middesk approaches developer experience and ecosystem partnerships. At the same time, youll roll up your sleeves to executewriting PRDs, reviewing API designs, validating integrations, and working directly with customers and partners to deliver impact.
We follow a hybrid work model, and for this role, there is an expectation of 2-3 days per week in our SF office. Candidates should be based within a commutable distance, as we believe in the value of in-person collaboration and building strong team connections while also supporting flexibility where possible.
Define and own the strategy, roadmap, and execution for Middesks APIs, SDKs, and ecosystem integrations.
Partner with GTM and Partnerships to identify and prioritize high-impact integrations that drive adoption and distribution.
Work directly with partners to co-develop integrations that deliver both business value and technical excellence.
Collaborate with engineering and design to deliver intuitive developer experiences, from onboarding flows to documentation and tooling.
Establish developer and partner feedback loopsbeta programs, partner sessions, and usage analyticsand fold insights into product decisions.
Define and track KPIs for ecosystem success (integration adoption, partner-sourced pipeline, developer engagement).
Partner with Pricing & Packaging to operationalize monetization models tied to integrations and ecosystem usage.
Roll up your sleeves to draft requirements, validate API designs, and ensure integrations land with quality.
Serve as the internal advocate for partners and developers, influencing priorities across the product portfolio.
Monitor the competitive landscape and emerging partner ecosystems to keep Middesk ahead.
7+ years of product management experience, with significant time spent on APIs, developer platforms, or integration products.
Proven success building developer-facing products and ecosystem integrations, ideally with external partners.
Strong technical fluencyable to work closely with engineers, read API designs, and dive into details when needed.
Strategic leadership experienceable to define a vision and build alignment across teams and stakeholders.
Comfortable operating in ambiguity and building from scratchthis is a founding role, and you will define what this function is, what it owns, and how it operates.
Hands-on operatorcomfortable drafting PRDs, running partner pilots, and getting in the weeds to make sure integrations succeed.
Excellent communicator across technical and commercial audiences, with a track record of influencing partners and executives.
Data-driven and impact-orientedfocused on adoption, engagement, monetization, and distribution metrics.
