Base pay range

$180,000.00/yr - $197,000.00/yr

As one of the first engineers, youll work directly with the founders to shape the foundation of our product, infrastructure, and engineering culture.

What Youll Do

• Own the delivery of high-quality user experiences across the Lapel platform
• Work closely with founders, designers, and customers to translate ideas into robust products
• Move fluidly between Figma and code to bring interfaces to life with care and polish
• Shape frontend architecture, tooling, and UI standards
• Own key projects end-to-end, from scoping to deployment to post-launch iteration
• Build fast, beautiful, and user-friendly features with React, TypeScript, Tailwind, and modern frontend frameworks

Youll thrive in this role if you:

• Have 4+ years of engineering experience and a strong track record of shipping high-quality products at scale
• Are customer-obsessed, hungry, and creative you turn ambiguity into systems that work
• Love fast-paced environments and working across disciplines
• Are collaborative and go the extra mile to help those around you to do their best work
• Are deeply curious and love learning new systems and filling in missing skills

This role is fully in-person at our San Francisco HQ. We work together in-office most days.
