Summary

 

Lincoln Electric has a terrific opportunity for an Electrical CAD Drafter supporting our Plant Engineering team at our Cleveland, Ohio headquarters. Plant Engineering implements capital projects and provides engineering support for the Consumable and Machine divisions of the Cleveland Operations. The Electrical CAD Drafter is responsible for the electrical drafting needs for the Plant Engineering Department and with the implementation of AutoCAD Electrical in the Plant Engineering Department.

What You Will Do

 

Plant Engineering implements capital projects and provides engineering support for the Consumable and Machine divisions of the Cleveland Operations. The CAD Drafter is responsible for the following: 

  • Support Electrical Plant Engineers with creation and/or modifying electrical drawings.
  • Support Maintenance by modifying drawings that require updates.
  • Support Common Services Electrical Fabrication and Construction with electrical drawings.
  • Document existing production and facility equipment.
  • Maintain and update electrical drawings.
  • Assist the Electrical CAD Administrator in the development and maintenance of templates, schematic.
  • Symbols, panel footprints, and standard parts library.
  • Assist the Electrical CAD Administrator in training CAD user and developing training content.
  • Other duties as assigned by manager.

• Assumes additional responsibilities as needed or directed in support of the Company’s 2026 Strategy.

 

 

 

Summary

 

• Minimum of a High School Diploma or GED.

• 1 - 2 or more years relative experience.
• Technically proficient in using software applications such as AutoCAD, AutoCAD Electrical, MS Office, .
• Ability to effectively apply all drafting standards, practices, and procedures in electrical drafting.
• Uncompromising attitude towards quality.
• Must be organized and pay attention to details.
• Self-motivated with a high level of commitment; able to work independently and as a team player.
• Good interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
• Perform in a fast-paced environment on multiple assignments.
• Selected candidate’s Job Level and Pay Grade will be determined based upon qualifications and experience.
