Our Pods (small teams of 5 or less) are comprised of personnel with similar skillsets to ensure mentorship, understanding, and peer support. General Duties Facility Access & Control Open and close secure facilities daily in accordance with SSO procedures. Manage and control access to SCIFs and collateral spaces, issuing visitor and SCIF badges and maintaining visitor databases. Perform escort duties for uncleared/emergency personnel and maintain positive control throughout visit duration. Screen hand-carried items and enforce prohibited items policies. SCIF Operations & Compliance Assist SSO with writing, maintaining, and executing SCIF standard operating procedures (SOPs). Conduct unannounced/random inspections of SCIF spaces and document compliance findings. Participate in annual self-inspections, semi-annual IDS and alarm response testing. Track and manage secure area keys in accordance with SOPs. Security Monitoring & Alarm Response Respond to intrusion detection system (IDS) alarms during and outside duty hours (on-call). Conduct internal inspections, reset alarms, and coordinate with SSO on findings. Support emergency action procedures and post-event sanitization of secure spaces. Collaboration & Reporting Support coordination with government SSO team for inspection, compliance, and visitor tracking activities. Maintain accurate records and reports of alarm events, inspections, and badge issuance. Assist in drafting reports and procedures to support SCIF readiness and physical Required Qualifications Minimum of 5+ years of recent experience overseeing, reviewing, analyzing, evaluating, and maintaining the integrity and protection of highly sensitive information and programs.
