Are you a litigation attorney looking for a remote, nights/weekend, flexible job to supplement your regular income?

 

Robert Half is partnering with a law firm that has a multi-state presence, and they are seeking a  part time, remote but permanent litigation attorney to oversee cases. This company specializes in bankruptcy, consumer litigation, and debt negotiation. Experience in this practice area is not required; an interest in it is, however. This litigation attorney should have a true desire to help people who are in financial distress.

 

This is a long-term role with built-in flexibility (in terms of work hours and work location), so long as the attorney can reliably work 5-20 hours/month. The firm is open to attorneys who have their own practice, so long as they have the capacity to work part time hours.

 

Compensation is based on the number of cases settled, but once ramped up (past 90 days) attorneys can expect to bring in at least $10,000 per month (for roughly 10 hours/month of work!).

Must-have:

1. Litigation experience, particularly handling settlement negotiations, in state courts
2. Be barred, live in, and have litigation experience in one of the following states...

• Delaware
• Colorado
• Georgia
• Idaho
• Iowa
• Illinois
• Louisiana
• Nevada
• New Jersey
• Ohio
• Pennsylvania
• Rhode Island
• Tennessee
• Utah
• Virginia
• Wisconsin
• Wyoming

Nice-to-have:

1. Experience defending creditor lawsuits, or in the debt-settlement industry
2. Ability to speak Spanish
