Internship Description
We are currently filing spots for our Summer 2023 internship. This position is being offered to college students who are looking to gain experience and knowledge in Communications, Sales and/or Marketing to satisfy a requirement for a qualification at their school or gain valuable work experience. This is a paid position which includes a $5,000 signing bonus, commissions on all accounts, and a furnished apartment for the summer.

Fenix Pest Control is a fast-growing company looking for honest, highly motivated, hardworking individuals who are looking for real world experience and who want to make good money this summer. Fenix Pest Control is head quartered in Des Moines, IA, but has offices across the Midwest and Florida.
Internship Goal
Our internship goal is to provide business expertise and professional selling skills necessary to succeed in a wide variety of sales roles, including inside sales, outside territory sales, and other supporting sales specialist roles. Students will gain experience using customer relationship management systems and data to facilitate customer buying decisions.
We also want you to make some good money for school and realize how exciting sales and marketing can be!!!
What we hope to teach you:
1. To properly conduct, analyze, and report and research data to help improve sales tactics.
2. Develop compelling sales presentations.
3. Gain Personal selling experience, emphasis on marketing, planning, communication, and presentation skills.
4. Understand influences on consumer behavior and the decision-making process.
5. Skill development in professional sales setting
6. Personal productivity, negotiations, and interpersonal communications
Expectations:
Expectations for Interns are as follows:
1. Work for a minimum of 3 months.
2. Be on time to training meetings held everyday at noon for one hour.
3. Be in the field for a minimum of 5 hours a day.
4. Contact no less than 30 potential customers per day.
5. Use sales routes App when in the field.
6. Mark every contact on the App’s map with notes and labels so we can track data.
7. Let company know before contracts are signed if there will be any days absent during the Summer.
8. Sign a Sales Representative Agreement with the Company.
9. Sign Housing Agreement with the Company.
10. Conduct yourself in a professional manor.
11. Obey all laws.
12. Abide by all rules, agreements and safety guidelines given by the Company.
