Job Description

Seeking a professional with experience in school settings to provide essential services to K-12 students. This role is based in Sacramento, CA, and aims to support a diverse caseload of 50 students, focusing on direct and consultative therapy.

Qualifications:

• Masters degree in Occupational Therapy or related field
• Current state licensure as an Occupational Therapist
• Experience working in school environments, particularly with K-12 students
• Strong understanding of special education policies and practices
• Ability to develop IEPs and collaborate with educational staff
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Location:

Responsibilities:

• Deliver occupational therapy services to assigned students, tailoring interventions to meet individual needs
• Conduct assessments and develop IEP goals in collaboration with teachers and parents
• Provide both direct therapy and consultative services, ensuring continuity of care
• Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to holistic student support
• Maintain thorough documentation of services provided and student progress
• Stay updated on best practices in occupational therapy within educational settings
