The Epileptologist at Providence Brain & Spine Institute provides specialized care for epilepsy patients within a Level 4 Epilepsy Center, working across two major hospitals in Portland. The role involves both inpatient and outpatient clinical duties including EEG call coverage and management in the Epilepsy Monitoring Unit, collaborating with neurosurgeons and participating in ongoing clinical trials and research. This position is part of a leading neurosciences program offering comprehensive neurological services and an opportunity to contribute to advanced patient care and scientific advancement.

The Providence Brain & Spine Institute (PBSI) is seeking a full-time Epileptologist to join the Providence Epilepsy Center. The new physician will become part of a certified Level 4 Epilepsy Center, providing care at 2 major hub hospitals in Portland, collaborating with a team of neurosurgeons, and supporting extensive ongoing clinical trials and epidemiologic research.

• Full-time position
• Mix of inpatient and outpatient care
• Clinical responsibilities include outpatient clinic, EEG call coverage, and rounding in the Epilepsy Monitoring Unit.
• This is an opportunity to join Northwest’s premier neurosciences program which houses established services including MS, Stroke, ALS, Parkinson’s, epilepsy, neuro-oncology, headache, neurosurgery, orthopedic spine surgery, neuroradiology, inpatient and outpatient rehabilitation, neuroimaging, and gamma knife.
