Job Summary

Within a patient centered culture, the Medical Assistant (MA) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) will assist providers and nursing staff deliver optimal patient care, and work with others to achieve efficient clinical and business operations. The LPN performs both clinical and administrative tasks.

Responsibilities

Possesses sufficient skills to perform the job in an efficient and effective manner. Can demonstrate skills and knowledge in day-to-day situations, including the use of equipment associated with job responsibilities. Performs patient care as well as administrative tasks.

Understanding Roles and Responsibilities
Takes responsibility for clarifying job responsibilities, including the need to understand performance standards and other expectations. Communicates with supervisor regularly to ensure that there is no misunderstanding about how performance will be measured and how expectations relate to the job. Seeks clarification as needed or when responsibilities are not understood. Willingly accepts change. Will work in clinics across the physician enterprise as needed. Travel is required.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

Heavy Work
Exerting up to 100 lbs. of force occasionally and/or up to 50 lbs. of force frequently and/or in excess of 20 lbs. of force constantly.

Education

• Post High School Diploma or Certificate Program (Required)

Credentials

• Licensed Practical Nurse or MA Certificate/Experience

• Basic Cardiac Life Support (Required)
