The Cath Lab is entering an exciting period of growth, expanding its team of cardiologists and introducing new procedures in Electrophysiology (EP) and Vascular . We are also enhancing our EPIC electronic health record , focusing on operational efficiencies, staffing, and patient scheduling. Our priorities are patient care quality and colleague engagement .

The Cath Lab Director will oversee a Nurse Manager and partner with the ACNO, Executive Director, and Medical Director to drive these initiatives.

🩺 Job Description:
The Cath Lab Nursing Operations Leader is responsible for the strategic and operational leadership of the cardiac catheterization lab, including:

• Patient care delivery
• Staff management
• Budget oversight
• Regulatory compliance

Key duties include policy development, quality and safety monitoring, budget management , and fostering a positive and professional environment for staff and patients.

📌 Responsibilities:

• Leadership & Strategic Planning: Align Cath Lab goals with hospital objectives, develop policies and department strategies
• Operational Management: Oversee daily operations, scheduling, procedure coordination, workflow efficiency, and productivity metrics
• Staff Management: Hire, coach, evaluate, and develop staff; manage staffing needs
• Financial Management: Develop and manage departmental budget, forecasting, and resource planning
• Quality & Compliance: Maintain high clinical standards, ensure compliance with regulatory bodies (TJC, OSHA) and internal policies
• Interdisciplinary Collaboration: Partner with physicians and departments to ensure patient-centered, coordinated care
• Patient & Family Advocacy: Promote inclusion, excellence, and a culture that prioritizes patients and staff
