Job Description
We are seeking an extremely skilled and experienced HVAC Technician to join our team in a manufacturing environment. This role requires a seasoned professional with advanced knowledge of commercial and industrial HVAC systems, ensuring optimal performance of climate control systems critical to production and facility operations.
Key Responsibilities:
Install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair complex HVAC systems, including chillers, rooftop units, air handlers, VAV systems, and refrigeration equipment.
Conduct system diagnostics and performance testing to ensure compliance with manufacturing requirements and environmental standards.
Perform preventive maintenance schedules to minimize downtime and ensure operational efficiency.
Collaborate with production teams to optimize temperature and humidity control for sensitive manufacturing processes.
Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals.
Identify and implement energy efficiency improvements and system upgrades.
Ensure adherence to safety codes, regulations, and company policies.
Document all service and repair activities accurately.
Qualifications:
7+ years of experience as an HVAC Technician, preferably in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
EPA Universal Certification required; additional HVAC licenses/certifications highly desirable.
Expertise in commercial and industrial HVAC systems, including advanced controls and automation.
Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills, with the ability to resolve complex system issues.
Familiarity with building management systems (BMS) and programmable controls.
Ability to work independently, manage priorities, and lead small-scale HVAC projects.
