About Us: The Heathman Lodge offers a welcoming and convenient stay for travelers. Our hotel provides top-notch amenities and services to ensure a comfortable experience for both business and leisure guests. Summary: Provide professional and courteous customer service to hotel guests by performing the following duties.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Greet, register, and assign rooms to guests in a friendly manner.
• Obtain guest identification and credit approval.
• Answer telephones, route calls, and make reservations.
• Provide information on hotel services, local attractions, and travel details.
• Fulfill special guest requests and manage complaints.
• Post charges, compute bills, and handle payments.
• Handle guest mail and messages.
• Communicate with the next shift and perform other duties as assigned.

Additional Responsibilities:

• Keep work area neat and organized.
• Conduct yourself professionally.
• Maintain a safe working environment and report unsafe conditions.
• Maintain good relationships with all departments.
• Comply with policies and procedures from the Employee Handbook.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED.
• 1-3 months of related experience or training.
• Ability to read, write, and speak effectively.
• Basic math skills.
• Ability to follow instructions and solve problems.
• Knowledge of reservation systems and basic computer skills.

Physical Demands:

• Occasionally stand, walk, use hands, and talk or hear.
• Occasionally lift/move up to 25 pounds.
