Our client located in Dayton, OH is looking to add an HR Manager to their team! This role oversees all Human Resource practices with the focus of providing the company with an employee oriented, high performance culture that emphasizes high employee morale, quality of work, and productivity.

RESPONSIBILITIES: - Provides advice and counsel to employees and managers regarding employee relations. Maintains appropriate levels of confidentiality and follows company and regulatory requirements for investigating, documenting, and swiftly resolving conflicts.
- Manages the recruiting process for internal and external postings and candidates; Partners with management to ensure top talent is attracted for positions in all levels of the organization.
- Provides managers with qualified resumes for open positions to fill. Assists managers with the scheduling of interviews, employment verification, and on-boarding of qualified applicants.
- Evaluates and recommends compensation strategies and pay scales that are competitive in local environments.
- Prepares, reviews and communicates Employee Total Compensation Statements on a regularly occurring basis.
- Provides Benefits Administration for a full suite of employee benefits including but not limited to health, dental, vision, employee assistance programs, supplemental insurance, COBRA, FMLA, STD, 401(K) and ESOP. Ensure plans are administered in accordance to plan provisions and makes recommendations to company leadership to target best-in-class benefits options while remaining cost-effective
- Leads the Open Enrollment process including internal marketing, timely communication and leads employee enrollment meetings.
- Stays informed of current legislation impacting employment and business to ensure all employment practices are compliant with laws and regulations to include environmental and safety and health regulations.
- Maintains OSHA injury and recordkeeping logs and EEO-1 filings on a timely basis.
QUALIFICATIONS: - Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources and HR Professional certifications preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of human resource experience dealing with employee relations, employee engagement programs, compensation, benefits and payroll
- Team-work oriented
- Able to maintain composure in a variety of settings
- Objectivity and fairness to facilitate conflict resolution
- HR Technical expertise
- Fluent in the Microsoft Office suite of products as well as ability to master Payroll and HRIS software and systems
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with individual employees and group settings
