Sterling Cleaning Co. is seeking dedicated, detail-oriented, and motivated Cleaners to join our growing team. We specialize in premium residential and move-in/out cleaning, with a strong focus on quality, professionalism, and customer satisfaction . Duties

• Perform high-quality home and office cleaning of assigned areas: dusting, mopping, vacuuming, sanitizing surfaces, and polishing finishes.
• Execute deep cleaning projects (kitchens, bathrooms, baseboards, cabinets, ovens, fridges, interior windows).
• Handle laundry tasks , including washing, drying, folding, and organizing clothes and linens.
• Wash and put away dishes as needed, ensuring kitchens are pristine.
• Deliver outstanding customer service: greet clients with professionalism, address concerns, and ensure satisfaction.
• Report low supplies or equipment issues promptly to management.
• Work independently or with a partner to complete jobs efficiently while meeting Sterling Cleaning Co.’s premium standards.
• Follow sanitation and safety guidelines to protect both clients and staff.

Skills

• Proven experience in residential cleaning, commercial cleaning, or custodial roles is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of sanitation practices and cleaning techniques.
• Ability to perform floor care tasks effectively using appropriate equipment and products.
• Excellent customer service skills with a friendly demeanor.
• Experience in housekeeping management is a plus.
• Familiarity with carpet cleaning methods and equipment is advantageous.
• Cooking skills are beneficial for maintaining kitchen cleanliness.
• Attention to detail and strong organizational skills are essential for success in this role.

Requirements

• Must have your own cleaning supplies and equipment (vacuum, mop, basic solutions) to complete jobs.
• Prior cleaning experience (residential, commercial, or janitorial) strongly preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and consistency — every clean should feel “5-star hotel quality.”
• Excellent time management and organizational skills.
• Professional, friendly demeanor with great communication skills.
• Ability to handle physical tasks (lifting, bending, standing for long periods).
• Reliable transportation and smartphone required (to access schedules, client notes, and navigation).
• Must be dependable, punctual, and trustworthy — we work inside clients’ homes and integrity is a must.
