Job Summary

We are seeking a Mechanical Maintenance Engineer to join the refinery that has the capacity to process 250,000 BPD and is located in Western Saudi Arabia (Yanbu City). MEU is responsible to provide technical Maintenance support to daily activities and execute expense projects to ensure compliance with This Company & industry standards, regulations, and safety protocols. Your primary role will be to promptly deal with any issues when faults or problems with equipment occur.

Responsibilities:

• Evaluate and troubleshoot equipment performance and mechanical problems.
• Assess new technologies and alternative solutions for equipment repair, and make optimal decisions.
• Manage equipment repairs, upgrades, and complex installations, utilizing both in-house resources and contractor services.
• Actively participate in Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and other technical discussions to identify and address underlying issues.
• Provide comprehensive support and oversight to Junior Engineers.
• Monitor and ensure timely closure of all payments related to contractor services.
• Offer technical support to the maintenance team to enhance preventive maintenance strategies, checks, predictive maintenance strategies, and operation-based maintenance checks.
• Participate effectively in Operations, Maintenance, and Engineering (OME) meetings, providing the necessary technical maintenance support.

Requirements:

• This role required candidate to permanently relocate at Dhahran, Saudi Arabia.
• Hold a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering from a recognized and approved program.
• Possess a minimum of 10 years of maintenance experience.
• Demonstrate a thorough knowledge of engineering practices.
• Preferred certifications include Fundamental Engineer (FE), Certified Maintenance & Reliability Professional (CMRP), and/or Project Management Professional (PMP).
• Any additional relevant certificates will be considered a plus.
