We are seeking a dedicated General Manager to lead our Asheville store. Position Overview The General Manager reports to the District Manager and oversees daily store operations, including sales, profitability, customer satisfaction, inventory management, brand representation, and team development. The GM fosters a People First environment emphasizing diversity, inclusion, and exceptional customer relationships. Key Responsibilities Lead and motivate store staff to achieve sales and service goals. Develop and execute strategies to maximize sales and operational efficiency. Ensure compliance with company policies and standards. Manage hiring, onboarding, training, and ongoing development of team members. Maintain visual merchandising standards and store cleanliness. Drive a high level of customer service and resolve issues effectively. Analyze sales reports and market trends to identify opportunities. Coordinate with nearby stores and corporate management on initiatives. Manage schedules, expenses, and payroll to meet financial targets. Qualifications Minimum 2 years of college preferred. At least 3 years of retail sales experience, or 2 years of sales plus 1 year of management. Jewelry or specialty retail experience preferred. Diamond Council of America (DCA) certification is a plus. Strong communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills. Proficiency in MS Office and retail technology. Bilingual skills are advantageous. Physical & Schedule Requirements Must be able to stand, reach, lift up to 10 pounds, and perform visual inspections. Flexibility to work weekends, evenings, holidays, and peak periods is essential.
