Job Title: Financial Specialist

Summary/Objective

Responsible for all accounting, banking, and other financial activities of the company. Assist and recommend refinements and improvements in fiscal strategy that aligns with company goals. Prepare and analyze reports.

Essential Functions

*Evaluate and analyze capital expenditures, deprecation, proposals, investment opportunities, rate of return, profit plans, operating records, financial statements, etc.

*Identify opportunities to improve operational efficiency related to accounts payable and accounts receivable

*Complete accounts receivable aging report

*study the company's financial data and give feedback for guiding business investments and overall financial strategy

*Responsible for all general accounting and bookkeeping functions

*Responsible for all company banking functions

*Prepare, analyze, refine and define financial documents or reports

*Maintain all financial records and files in accordance with state/federal laws

*Track all delinquent accounts and tactfully follow through with collection as directed by the National Sales Manager and senior management

*Coordinate accounting activities with consulting CPA firm

*Oversee all accounting data entry and coordination with Systems Administrator to generate desired reports within Acumatica (accounting software)

*Ensure all accounting practices conform to the company Quality Management systems procedure

*Serve as part of the management review team

*Complete all required census reports and assist in any audits as required

Secondary Duties

*Hold an official seat of Notary Public-Oregon

*Communicate professionally and effectively to all coworkers, supervisors, managers, vendors and clients

*Effective use of general office equipment, i.e. computers, copy machines and postal equipment

*Perform other reasonably related duties assigned by supervisor

Supervisory Responsibilities

This position has no supervisory responsibilities

Work Environment

While performing the duties of this job, the individual is primarily in an office environment

Physical Demands

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is primarily in an office setting, at a desk either sitting or standing. Filing may require the employee to lift up to 15 pound's. Very rarely will the employee be required to enter the manufacturing environment which would require hearing and eye protection which is provided by the company

Education and Experience

Vocational or college degree in bookkeeping, accounting, finance or related field is required. Five years of experience in general accounting position is preferred

Compensation and Benefits

*Salary range based on experience* Range $75,000 – 100,000

*Full benefits package with health insurance, dental, and life insurance

*401k with match

*Seven paid holidays per year, six paid Admin days per year, plus one day for your birthday to be taken during your birthday month

*48 hours of personal time

*80 hours of paid vacation
