About the Role

The Company is seeking an EVP, Head of Risk to spearhead the development and execution of its enterprise risk strategy. The successful candidate will be responsible for a wide range of risk management areas, including credit risk, model governance, and compliance oversight. This role demands a leader who can not only architect the risk strategy but also lead a team of credit analysts and quants, and work closely with executive leadership to influence various business strategies. The mission is clear: to safeguard the business, unlock opportunities, and ensure a future-proof risk posture as the company scales. Applicants must have a minimum of 10 years' experience in credit risk, structured finance, or quantitative analytics, with a preference for those with a background in consumer lending or auto finance. The role requires a deep understanding of subprime and near-prime markets, credit modeling, and risk-based pricing. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background, including familiarity with machine learning, predictive modeling, and risk tech platforms. Executive presence, boardroom communication skills, and the ability to engage with both technical and non-technical stakeholders are essential. A proven track record in leading and growing teams, as well as experience in digital transformation and governance of model development, are also key requirements.
