Job Summary:

As a Commercial Electrical Estimator , you will be responsible for preparing accurate and competitive cost estimates for electrical projects. You will analyze project specifications, work closely with vendors and subcontractors, and collaborate with our project management team to ensure successful bid proposals.

Key Responsibilities:

• Review project plans, specifications, and electrical requirements.
• Prepare detailed and accurate cost estimates for commercial electrical projects.
• Source and negotiate pricing with suppliers and subcontractors.
• Identify potential risks, opportunities, and cost-saving measures.
• Work closely with the project management team to ensure smooth transitions from estimation to execution.
• Attend pre-bid meetings and site visits to gather critical project details.
• Utilize estimating software and company databases to streamline the estimation process.

Qualifications:

• Experience: Minimum 3-5 years of experience in electrical estimating for commercial projects.
• Education: Electrical trade background or degree in construction management, engineering, or related field preferred.
• Skills:
• Strong knowledge of electrical systems, codes, and regulations.
• Proficiency in estimating software (Accubid, McCormick, or similar).
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and electrical schematics.
• Strong communication and negotiation skills.
• Attention to detail and accuracy in cost analysis.
