Northwest Talent Solutions (NWTS) is partnering with a respected healthcare organization to identify an accomplished Director of Risk Management to lead its patient safety and risk operations strategy.
This role is ideal for a proactive healthcare professional who thrives on building systems that protect patients, support staff, and strengthen operational compliance. The Director will oversee all aspects of risk management, patient safety, and claims investigation ensuring the organizations standards align with best practices and regulatory expectations.
Key Responsibilities:Lead the patient safety and risk management programs , ensuring alignment with national standards and internal goals.
Direct claims management activities, including incident investigation and analysis.
Conduct risk assessments for new services and facilitate root cause analyses for critical events.
Manage the Patient Safety Council , integrating corporate programs into facility operations.
Partner closely with executive and clinical leadership to implement risk-reduction strategies.
Educate teams on compliance standards and emerging regulatory requirements.
Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution (required).
25 years of risk management experience in a hospital or acute-care setting.
Demonstrated leadership experience in hospital administration.
Expertise in regulatory standards, compliance, and patient safety initiatives.
Exceptional analytical, communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
Base Salary Range: Highly Competitive
