We have full-time and part-time positions available. Hourly pay of $20.00. All staff are eligible for performance bonuses, holiday bonuses, referral bonuses and our 401k retirement plan with company match as well as discounts on tickets for amusement parks, sporting events, hotels and rental cars. Full-time staff get paid time off and access to health and life insurance. Must have a high school diploma or GED and a valid Ohio driver's license.

Report to work as scheduled by North Shore Arrive at job site on time Work "on call" shifts as needed Communicate verbally with individuals and staff Communicate in writing with staff Work cooperatively and courteously in a team environment Follow supervisors' directives Perform medical tasks assigned by nurse Visually monitor and supervise individuals Auditorily monitor and supervise individuals Physically assist or monitor individuals as needed with: - Bathing in tub or shower - Personal hygiene - Toileting - Dressing - Eating - Socializing - Ambulation (including all accessible places) - Shopping - Leisure activities - Using public transportation - Taking medications - Emergency situations Clean the house/apartments Plan and prepare meals Manage money Transport individuals in North Shore vehicles Maintain valid Ohio driver's license with four points or less Remain calm and complete assigned duties in stressful situations

North Shore Services has been providing residential services for adults with developmental disabilities since 1985. Licensed by the State of Ohio and a Medicaid Individual Options Waiver provider, North Shore provides individuals with twenty-four-hour access to trained staff in group home and shared living (foster) settings in Cuyahoga County, Ohio.
Our goal is to help each client achieve his or her greatest possible happiness and independence. We believe that our residents should be included in society and not segregated from it. Client self-determination, inclusion in the community, and positive staff intervention are fundamental to our philosophy.
