Job Description:

We are seeking a Data Engineer I with hands-on experience in AWS services, Python coding, and data pipeline development. This entry-level position is ideal for someone passionate about building scalable, high-performance data systems and gaining deeper expertise in cloud-native data platforms. The ideal candidate will work with our analytics and engineering teams to design, develop, and maintain data pipelines and support real-time and batch data processing.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop, test, and maintain scalable ETL/ELT pipelines using Python, SQL, and Apache Airflow



• Work with AWS services such as Kinesis, Redshift, S3, and Lambda to process and store large-scale data



• Monitor and troubleshoot data pipelines, ensuring data integrity and performance



• Collaborate with data analysts, data scientists, and other stakeholders to understand data requirements and deliver high-quality data solutions



• Participate in code reviews, documentation, and adherence to coding best practices



• Assist in real-time data streaming and batch processing solutions using Kinesis and Redshift



• Contribute to data modeling, schema design, and performance tuning in Redshift and other databases

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field



• Proficiency in Python programming for data processing



• Solid understanding of SQL and experience with Redshift or similar columnar databases



• Hands-on experience with AWS services, particularly Kinesis, S3, and Redshift



• Familiarity with Apache Airflow or other workflow orchestration tools
