We are looking for a passionate and community-driven individual. In this long-term contract position, you will play a vital role in fostering meaningful connections within the local community to promote and support financial wellness initiatives. Responsibilities:

• Build strong relationships with local leaders and organizations to promote the program and its mission.

• Create awareness about the initiative by explaining its benefits and encouraging individuals to participate in personalized sessions.

• Maintain detailed records of outreach activities, community engagement efforts, and customer interactions.

• Conduct one-on-one financial conversations using empathetic listening and ethnographic interviewing techniques to identify individual needs.

• Develop tailored action plans and connect individuals with resources to help them improve their financial habits.

• Provide follow-up support and serve as an accountability partner to ensure participants stay on track with their goals.

• Collaborate with the team to share insights from the community and contribute to the continuous improvement of the program.

• Embrace a startup mindset by participating in experimental approaches to refine services and processes.

• Stay curious and committed to learning from the community to drive innovation and enhance program offerings.

• Strong connections within the local community and a deep understanding of its culture and needs.
• Proven ability to build trust and establish credibility quickly with diverse groups.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, including proficiency in English (Spanish proficiency is a plus).
• Experience with scheduling, planning, and maintaining organized records of interactions.
• Familiarity with tools such as Zoom, Microsoft Word, and other digital communication platforms.
• Ability to think critically, ask probing questions, and guide conversations without offering direct advice.
• Willingness to travel locally and engage with community members in various settings.
• A collaborative mindset with the ability to adapt to a fast-paced, innovative environment.
