Overview:

As a Carpenter’s Apprentice, you will play a pivotal role in supporting our skilled journeymen and finish carpenters, learning the craft while actively contributing to each project’s success. ·       Assist experienced carpenters in building, fabricating, and installing projects to the highest standard.

·       Develop problem-solving skills to provide efficient solutions and improve project outcomes.

·       Read and interpret blueprints, understanding both the vision and the practical application for each project.

·       Learn to anticipate project milestones, needs, and potential challenges from a '30,000 FT View.'

·       Collaborate with teams to ensure a seamless project execution, maintaining clear communication and follow-up.

·       Learn and apply design principles to make client visions a reality, while troubleshooting and solving construction challenges in a timely, safe manner.

·       Uphold and enforce all safety standards and codes to prevent fines and delays.

·       Maintain a high standard of craftsmanship, continuously looking for ways to improve quality and avoid errors.

·       Support the team in maintaining an organized, clean, and efficient job site.

·       Proficient in using smart phones, preferably iPhone, and capable of learning software like Slack, ProCore, Microsoft Office, and Google Applications.

·       Own basic hand tools (tape measure, hammer, battery-powered tools, etc.).

·       Valid Indiana driver’s license with a clean background and willingness to undergo drug testing.

·       Professional appearance; wear attire that is well-kept and free from offensive imagery or wording.
